Priyantha Kumara case trial to be completed by end of April


LAHORE: The ATC has summoned six witnesses for cross examination on twenty second March in Priyantha Kumara case.

This was informed by the Secretary Prosecution Nadeem Sarwer whereas presiding over a five-member prosecutors committee to evaluate the progress of the Priyantha Kumara case. Secretary mentioned that to date statements of 34 witnesses have been recorded whereas cross examination of seven witnesses has additionally been accomplished.

Deputy Prosecutor General Assmatullah Khan informed that one of many accused hit Priyantha Kumara with scissor twice whereas second accused attacked with brick whereas third accused hit with wood membership which led to the dying of Priyantha Kumara.
