About the Position and/or Portfolio

UN Women Pakistan is planning to provoke implementation of a complete venture for stopping violence towards ladies and enhancing their entry to justice in Sindh and Sindh on the Federal stage. Functions:

1. Coordinate the EVAW Unit’s Access to Justice Programme in Sindh

  • Coordinate the general Programme work plan growth and implementation based on Strategic Note/ programme doc;
  • Gather inputs and coordinate the preparation of work-plans, periodic narrative progress studies and expenditures standing studies for the donor and UN Women;
  • Establish programs for venture planning, implementation and monitoring, in collaboration with companions;
  • Record and keep paperwork on related Programme actions, points, and dangers.

2. Guide coordination with nationwide companions and different stakeholders

  • Coordinate relationships with nationwide companions to assist implementation and growth of the Access to Justice Programme, elevate potential issues and recommend options;
  • Identify capability constructing wants and assist companions by way of technical help, mentoring, coaching and capability growth initiatives, as wanted.

3. Coordinate the monitoring and reporting on the Access to Justice Programme in Sindh

  • Gather and compile all data crucial for monitoring and reporting on programmes and initiatives from the planning to the analysis levels;
  • Monitor the implementation of actions and the expenditure of funds; conduct common monitoring visits, as required;
  • Draft and supply inputs to annual and quarterly studies; coordinate the submission of implementing companion monetary and narrative studies;
  • Provide inputs from Access to Justice programme actions and ends in Sindh to Country Office reporting.

4. Manage folks and funds of the Access to Justice programme in Sindh

  • Coordinate growth and preparation of economic sources of the programme together with budgeting and finances revisions, and expenditure monitoring and reporting;
  • Monitor the allocation and disbursement of funds to taking part companions;

5. Build partnerships and assist in growing useful resource mobilization methods

  • Provide inputs to the event of partnerships and useful resource mobilization methods.

6. Advocate and facilitate data constructing and administration and communication

Education:

Master’s diploma in social sciences, human rights, gender/ ladies’s research, worldwide growth, or a associated subject is required

Experience:

At least 3 years of progressively accountable expertise in growth programme/ venture implementation, coordination, monitoring and analysis, donor reporting and capability constructing;

Experience in EVAW, Governance and Human Rights is an asset;

Experience coordinating and liaising with authorities businesses and/ or donors is an asset.

Language:

Fluency in English and Urdu is required. Knowledge of different native languages of Sindh can be an asset.

Please Note:

HEC Attested levels are a prerequisite for employment at UN. During the recruitment course of candidates could also be required to current HEC attested levels.

Foreign Qualified Candidates: Foreign diploma holders shall be required to (i) Present a verification/certification letter from the college verifying the diploma & scholar enrollment, or (ii) Foreign diploma Equivalence Letter from HEC.
