SHC orders Sindh to file response on SC LG verdict implementation

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday ordered the provincial authorities to submit its reply over the implementation of the Supreme Court’s verdict on native authorities authority by March 31.

The courtroom heard a petition filed by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) looking for implementation of the apex courtroom’s verdict.

The Sindh further advocate common sought extra time to submit a reply of the federal government over the matter.

The courtroom ordered the federal government and Sindh advocate common to submit a reply on enforcement of the Supreme Court’s ruling with regard to the native authorities powers by March 31.
