RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Wednesday six troopers had been martyred after safety forces foiled three terrorists try and enter a navy compound within the Dera Ismail Khan’s Tank space.
In an announcement, the ISPR stated the safety forces, throughout the encounter, responded in an environment friendly method, encircled and killed the three terrorists — thereby foiling the try and enter the navy compound.
The navy’s media wing recognized the martyred troopers as:
- Subedar Major Sher Muhammad, 48, resident of Naushero Feroz
- Naib Subedar Zubaid, 39, resident of Khairpur
- Havildar Sohail, 39, resident of Rawalpindi
- Lance Naik Ghulam All, 36, resident of Tando Allahyar
- Sepoy Maskeen Ali, 32, resident of Khairpur
- Sepoy Mir Muhammad, 37, resident of Sukkur
Despite the incident, the Pakistan Army is decided to remove the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our courageous troopers additional strengthen our resolve, the ISPR added.
Hours earlier the ISPR had stated that on March 29 two troopers embraced martyrdom throughout an alternate of fireside between safety forces and terrorists in Makin, South Waziristan.
A short assertion issued by the navy’s media wing stated that “an intense exchange of fire took place between the security forces and terrorists,” to which the Pakistani troops responded in a befitting method.
